Georgia Renaissance Festival Bus trips!

We will have our customers pregame at the Meadery from 11:00am to 12:00pm and then we will load the bus.
The bus departs no later than 12:15pm on the dot and heads to the GARF!
Our merry bunch will follow the host into the festival and either adventure on their own or choose our hosted experience. If they choose to not follow their host, they will have a meet up point at 6:00pm outside the festival by the privies where they will meet the customers that chose the hosted experience.
Once we have our group, we are boarding the bus and it is departing no later than 6:30pm.
Drunken Monk

Stop by and have some mead at our favorite pub, Drunken Monk! Cheers!

Monks Meadery is proud to be

Every year, the Georgia Renaissance Festival returns so that you can step inside the gates of Newcastle and find yourself transported back to 16th-century England!

Their 32-acre village is filled with over 150 artisan craft shoppes, 10 stages of endless entertainment, wonderful pubs and taverns, plus food galore! You’ll laugh out loud at the antics of their costumed characters, try your skill at carnival games, and enjoy human-powered rides for kids of all ages. Did we mention food? Giant roasted turkey legs, fish and chips, hearty ales, mead and more – a feast fit for Royalty! It’s a full day of fun, food and entertainment for the whole family.

Did you spot our commemorative cans? We collaborated with the Georgia RenFest crew and created these collectible cans featuring the map of the park as the label.

In 2019, we proudly served up two of our newest flavors: Butter Buzz Butterscotch Mead and Peachin’ to the Choir complete with custom labels that included  a checklist of Monks Favorites!

For 2018,  festival goers were treated to our Stigmata and Peachin’ to the Choir flavors.
