Welcome to Monks Meadery, where we take our mead as seriously as a cat takes a nap (which is to say, not at all). Founded in 2011 by our fearless leader, Justin Schoendorf, we’ve been bubbling with excitement ever since! We specialize in modern dry-style carbonated meads that tickle your taste buds and make your heart do a little jig (or at least a happy shimmy).
As the official mead of the Georgia Renaissance Festival and Dragon Con, we’re not just slinging honeyed beverages; we’re serving up liquid magic! Our meads are like a party in a bottle, featuring whimsical flavors like "Dragons Nectar," which is a delightful fusion of dragon fruit, passion fruit and hibiscus (because who doesn’t want a dragon’s blessing in their drink?...also have you met our dragon, Draygaur?!). And let’s not forget "Faerie Dew," a lavender honey blend that’s so enchanting, it might just make you believe in fairies because they are real and you should (or at least in the power of a good buzz).
